  • Understand that al technical systems are socio-technical systems. Understand that socio0technical systems are not neutral sources of information and serve political agendas.
  • Ex. YouTube Ads Analogy, otherwise, an “algorithm bias”
    Recognise that there are many stakeholders in a given socio-technical system and that the system can affect these stakeholders differentially.
  • Analysing stakeholders’ ethics and values and understand them.
    Apply both technical understand of AI and knowledge of stakeholders in order to determine a just goal for a socio-technical system.
  • Training AI systems based on gained knowledge of stakeholders and ethics.
  • Consider the impact of technology on the world.
